I was bad at math to because in public school (pre internet) I was taught the PEMDAS method, and the teacher specifically taught us to solve multiplication before division and addition before subtraction. She taught us that 3 / 3 * 2 was 0.5, not 2. Following that logic I got most advanced math problems wrong, even thought I understood the concepts I was still doing the math in PEMDAS order and thus getting the wrong answers. I would have never even found had it not been for internet memes about stupid Americans who use this retarded method.
