You are made of atoms. There are atoms in the universe. Over the galactic timeframe all the atoms in your body will be dispersed back into the cosmos. Be conscious of this fact and learn to appreciate the enormous opportunity you have to do good in the only life you have to live.

... unless you take into account M-theory... given that there are a potential infinite amount of universes in the multiverse. The odds of atoms reconstituting over the course of infinite time are infinite and while you can't say for sure that you'll be "reconstituted" you can't rule it out either. Atomic immortality with splotches of consciousness sounds pretty cool to me. Albeit, a little far-fetched, but when you think about it... sounds about right.

A bright point of light, so brilliant that it could have been a planet, perhaps even a comet. Yet the Alabama was now far beyond the Earth’s solar system, and the stars were too distant to be moving relative to the ship’s velocity. Yet this one seemed to be following a course parallel to his own.

His curiosity aroused, Gillis watched the faraway light as it moved across the starscape. The longer he looked at it, the more it appeared as if it had a faint blue-white tail; it might be a comet, but if it was, it was headed in the wrong direction. Indeed, as he continued to study it, the light became a little brighter and seemed to make a subtle shift in direction, almost as if . . .

The photos fell to the floor as he rushed toward the ladder.

By the time he reached the command deck, though, the object had vanished.

Gillis spent the next several hours searching the sky, using the navigational telescope in an attempt to catch another glimpse of the anomaly. When optical methods failed, he went to his com station and ran the broad-band selector up and down across the radio spectrum in an effort to locate a repeating signal against the warbling background noise of space. He barely noticed that the deck had become colder, that the ceiling lights had shut off; his previous intentions now forgotten, he had neglected to tell the AI that he had changed his mind.

All those ambitions are open right and it takes your interest to hit you in the face with realization. All that psychology mixed up in your head telling you what and what to not do, the smashing reality is that you need to put all of that behind you and face the fucking future as yourself. Take a look at your educational progress, are you satisfied with that? Taking a breather and laying back on excuses will consume you! Take a good, hard look at yourself. Who the hell are you? You are yourself. The person who is responsible for pushing yourself to go and face the future. Listen, you stare down at that piece of shit paper and you tell yourself to go beyond the expectations, to break the boundaries and go further than the educational system of America and Canada does. You fucking force yourself to be smart because that's the only way! You come up with excuses and you're forming a path to depression and uncertainty in yourself, like I experienced. Going on 4chan and pushing your homework aside is just as bad as smoking tobacco or weed to get away from your problems. Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. - William James. I bet that William James guy knows a lot more than those stupid kids who do lay back on excuses still, and it's because their mind controls them. Your mind does what you fucking want it to do because you are ITS CONTROLLER! DON'T LET YOUR MIND OVERRIDE THE DESIRE FOR RISING UP AND FUCKING PUNCH THAT PROCRASTINATION AND THOSE FUCKTARDED EXCUSES AND MINDSETS IN THE FACE AND YOU DEMAND OF YOURSELF AND PUSH YOURSELF TO PICK UP THAT FUCKING PAPER, POSITION IT, PICK UP A PENCIL OR PEN WITH AN ERASER AT HAND OR ON THE BACK OF THAT FUCKING PENCIL, AND YOU BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THAT HOMEWORK! IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT YOU HAVE TO UTILIZE BOOKS AND THE INTERNET FOR INFORMATION! IF YOU READ BOOKS YOU WILL BECOME SMARTER AND MORE FOCUSED CLASS! NOW GO! BREAK REALITY!

When aging will be cured (apparently in about 20 years), does that mean I will never have a badass motherfucking grey beard? Does that mean everybody will look like if they were in their twenties or like some 14-year-old kids? No more old cigar-smoking motherfuckers? How will that shit be regulated?

We've observed many constants in the universe in the short history of science, of which we think they're constant only because we never measured anything that could make us believe otherwise. What if the very fabric of the universe is unconstant? Highly unconstant even? Would there be any way to know?
