Speaking as a layman who has no aeronautical engineering knowledge, how likely is it that the SLS will lead to death? The damn thing has been delayed for years and just managed to have a successful test after all this time and tens of billions of wasted tax dollars when corporate entities would’ve sufficed for far cheaper. Are they just sending all their diversity quota astronauts on a suicide mission? I’d much rather take my chances on a SpaceX rocket or an old Soyuz launcher than ride the SLS, speaking from the outside looking in.
