Alright it's time to test whether any of you mathfags are more than just shut-in autists that never touched grass.
Explain in just one post how from arithmatics and geometry math arrived where it is today.
Only galaxy brains need reply.
Rest of you don't strain yourselves.

See you later, m*dwesterners.

Why couldn't yellowstone be a bit more to the west? If any state should be ashed down to hell and back, I would want it to be california and not texas

This.
I'm so smart that family and friends unironically call me Synapto.
At the same time I despise and pity brainlets.
They'll never now the pleasures of being a God in human form.

This is extra funny to me because there were people in my maths class who always say "OH i GET this" followed by "I don't get this" every single day, and it's constant.

idk why they feel the urge to constantly verbally tweet on about how they don't "get" it. nobody is even interested in her mental play by play either, it's just weird.

If interstellar travel is """""""""""impossible""""""""""""""" then why do prominent scientists such as Stephen Hawking all believe that active SETI is a threat to humanity?

Checkmate /sci/, aliens are real.

>tfw when you are a math BSc doing work in statistics when you didn't take a single statistics course in uni.

I wonder if I could also get away with being an engineer lol. Brainlet fields are so easy to get into.

That said, fun field. I guess I count as a temporary statistician so I can answer. I do not give two fucking shits about statistics problems outside of the ones I have to solve to make that paper.

I mean, can you even call stats problem solving? Even when working in applied mathematics, I and everyone know that pure mathematics is the only field with fun problems.
