Hey sci/ got big problem.

See I'm doing a Maths degree. Going to get a second, when I need a first to do a PhD. Second year.

The problem sci/ is that I'm OCD. So like I won't look up examples, spend most of my time doing work I consider worthy and lastly don't go to lectures.

The reasoning is that I reason that if I depend on someone I will fail in the end. That need to study on my own or else I have failed. So like I get 85% in some modules, but then like 40% in others.

How can I change? Like I'm just confused as fuck.

Like what is the best way to improve? Sitting passively, doing what you are told by lectures? being an idiot and learning how to prove stuff by copying what the lecture does in his notes?

Just seems so backwards. But, at the current rate I'm going to fail.
