Regarding "yikes":
I went to Ru-san's where I once saw some the absolute spitting image of Eric Cantor delivering fish or produce.
i was there some other time, and I was returning from the sushi bar I saw some man with a distinct aura of evil giving me bad vibes from the area where you wait for the waitress to seat you. I continued eating at the bar, and then the man and his party were seated in the booth directly behind me. As I was eating, my mind became filled with images of a dungeon and tortured children. I looked at the sushi guy behind the bar, and I could see on his face that he was getting it too. I said, "Yikes," and it turned into a meme. One of the Japanese guys there looks like my Zadie Sol, but one of the mexican workers there was always giving me stink eye. I think he started doing it after I said, "Yikes," but I'm not sure. He was one of the newer waiters and he was white even while being apparently a Mexican, which is not really such a contradiction if you know anything about Mexico, one of the richest countries in the world. I think what had happened was that the man sat in the booth behind me and beamed the memes into my brain, and the waiter thought I was leaking images of my own dungeon, which would be non-existent because I don't have a dungeon or any slaves, and then the sushi guy behind the bar, who was usually decently cool, thought I was antagonizing him, a non-native English speaker likely, by saying, "Yikes." I stopped going to Ru-sans after that. The man at Alliance was always telling me that Rusan's was dirty, and I knew someone who worked there who said the same thing. I started going to Nori Nori, and the sushi guy there who reminded me of the stink eye third party waiter at Rus-san's, was always also kind of giving me gangstalking-like behavior.
