I want to run MATLAB through command prompt for a project that I'm working on, but every call that I make from command prompt opens a new instance of MATLAB. Does anyone know of a way to use an already open instance of MATLAB to process an operation? I really need to save time opening MATLAB in my program.

Currently, I'm running
matlab -automation -noawt -r "function(arg1,arg2),quit"

Electrical Engineering undergrad here. I'm beginning my senior electives. Spring registration is in a few days.

Does anyone know what I would learn in any of these classes?
"EE 4223: State Space Control System Design"
"EE 4701: Electric Drives"

Tried it. Ruined my lab results. Cheese acted as a conductor.
