I am sure /sci/ is aware what a post scarcity society is. When humanity reaches a stage where almost all sources can be considered unlimited, what will happen to society? In the present day, society and humanity strives upon becoming better by earning money to buy resources. If resources are unlimited, then where is the motivation to go out and be productive to advance society further? Will society stagnate? Will we even reach this stage? What are your opinions?

tl;dr life after post-scarcity society?
