To be fair, there are plenty of fields in today's (((science))) that are NOT science. But Economics is NOT a science.
I don't care if you use graphs and algorithms in Finance.
It's not science.
Having Billions/Trillions to manipulate markets isn't exactly "science".

Their focus isn't on advancing society, it's about making sure that goshdarn Line Goes Up. For all they care, everyone could live in mud-huts and straw-houses if it meant that Line Goes Up. Fortunately for most of us, "reasonably adequate" housing makes that Line Go Up more so than a cardboard box or tent.
