i will admit to being distracted, though. some problems take me hours to understand. Initially, on its face I'll understand the problem, but then I focus too much on the intricacies or the notation and it leaves me with 10 other questions. My lack of progress in basic shit while every fucking European freshman math undergrad is doing differential topology or whatever the fuck is utterly demoralizing
