I want to actually understand what's going on here, as in right down to being able to reproduce quantum bits given I have the right resources.

Can you guys suggest a few subjects/courses that'll be helpful? The most I could ask for is an open course ware lecture series.

BTW, I have a degree in computer engineering, just not a degree in quantum physics.

This chap claims to be able to locate a person using their DNA by using "quantum entanglement" and GPS.
He does not want to explain the theory in how the device works and he will not release any schematics. He has put a youtube video clearly showing how the device works.

He has the certification saying that the machine works. The "certification" is by a professor at a technical collage.
