I asked this in /adv/ but I thought this might be a good place to ask as well. So anyway I need to do something with my life, I cant goto a college because I have to be at home to take care of my grandpa so that leaves me with online college. After searching I found out about Computer Forensics, it seems interesting and from what I hear its a popular field.

But what worries me is that I wont be able to pass the course. I dont know how hard it is and I cant find much information about the difficultly of the course online.

Has anyone here taking this class before or know something about it and can give me some insight? Maybe other people here took online college courses and can tell me something better to put my time/money in?

Long story short, I have to take a math course in college that will cover "quadratic, polynomial and radical equations, linear functions and their graphs, systems of linear equations, functions and their properties and triangles and trigonometric functions. Activities will include solving problems and using appropriate technological tools."

How hard is all this stuff? Is there somewhere I can go that will give me extra help in learning these things? I assume that I'll be given good enough resources to learn from the college itself, but is there anywhere I can go that can better help prepare me.
