I would take neuralink if I could make it at home. I don't trust Elon Musk, the government or anybody else with that much agency over me to the extent of allowing THEM to manipulate MY brain. If I were diagnosed with a terminal illness, the final point on my bucket list would be getting a lobotomy. That, or some other sort of heavily-mind-altering surgery.
I am endlessly fascinated by what happens, internally, to a human who's damaged like that. Would I simply lose all desires and needs? Or would "I" instead feel trapped in my own body, as it acts on its own? Which part of my consciousness would "I" be?

Post ideas for a worse punishment if you duisagree.
