What are your thoughts on "fractal detailing"?
Simply, what level of detail is required to be stored in the simulation?

What is a book?
Does the simulation store each page or are the pages generated when I turn each page?
Does the ink lack distinct characteristics until I chemically analyze it?
Does the simulation store each copy of the book or is there a master book with a database showing changes (folded pages, page weathering, owner's handwritten notes) to each copy of the book.

Or are you just LARPing?

Okay.
I am at a point on the surface of your balloon.
For the sake of argument, I am at the Equator on the Prime Meridian (it could be any point).
I walk in any direction.
I end up arriving back at the same point from the opposite direction.

Also. ANY point in the surface of the ballon can be considered the "center" of said surface.

The answer is "of course", right?
