Very understandable and respectable endeavor.

The problem is normies are not subtle and so took this mechanism to arive at certain kinds of certainties to be suitable to explain the entirety of creation. So hard was this belief pushed that now we are left with a population that largley is ignorant the majority of their perceptions and senses and think only in overlaping universal generalities. Where science cannot provide a certainty they create them and mistake their assumptions as certainties because they were trained to trust in the certain and find it easier to deceive themselves than have an incomplete worldview.

By this process science has become useless as its goal of finding the few things we can try to become certain of has simply lead us to a mechanism to trick ourselves into taking whims or ideas as absolute.
