Alright OP, you have absolutely no choice but to do this. Once you've constructed a settlement absolutely isolated from the rest of humanity, you must find a willing compadre who would help you move in to Rapture. Many chemists/biologists would definitely have the capacity for research that will eventually lead to your goal, you must however convince them. You want to do research that transcends moral boundaries and don't want to be left under the scrutiny of the masses, do it in secret, lay the infrastructure for it, or else you will fail and I will watch you fail.
