To preface, I can't clearly define every edge of semantics for intelligence. But how I perceive it's presence as a thought process, is that it's the capacity for abstraction and the length at which you can explore and build a cohesive internal narrative about reality and your experience of it. The signs of intelligence I've felt in people seem to be always rooted in the simultaneous, logical justification of their subjective experience and how they objectively tie it to phenomena being observed.

Polyglot is the term for an universal genius. Studying historically "polyglotted" figures, you start to see a pattern; all of them were into the strangest combinations of topics. To respect the character limit: understanding reality is being intelligent, and to understand reality as with everything else, you have to unassumingly take things apart to see what's inside - and when you do this open-mindedly with tons of different things, only then can you discover the unifying elements.

Precariously, though, when you're picking apart reality, you're facing a mindful dismantling of what could be considered evolutionary filters. It's a nonsensical thing to do, and it will make you uncomfortable. At the gist of it, it might make you feel like your reality is “coming apart at the seams”.

Your intelligence is truly measured at that point, and it's the potential for the conscious balancing act of your cohesive narrative; it's never a constant, because when the story stands still, there's no story. And, you're all smart, you've been in the zone when you really *get* something, how that discovery feels like? Balanced thought and intelligently controlled mind experiences that from every instance of existence.

Sounds hard, controlling this feed of reality every moment of it? No, it's actually really simple, and it’s the only way to be intelligent beyond regular comprehension.
