Thanks for the tip! I'll try and remember that instead of the quotient rule. Because I have a solid way of remembering the product rule, and this may be useful to anyone else....
Product rule: f(x)g'(x) + g(x)f'(x)
A way of saying this aloud: "fig + gif", where an "i" preceding a letter indicates you take the derivative of that function.
Now here's how I remember it:
fig - fig newtons, sweet fruit cookie type of thing
gif - the board on 4chan filled with porn
thus, from fig + gif, we get sweet + porn, or more simply, sweet porn. (this part is obviously subjective, but for the sake of remembering it i just say they're both positive) since both sweet things and porn are pleasurable or positive things, they are added together. Product rule: sweet porn.
THE END

/sci/entists, I've got a job interview on Monday at a catalyst production plant, it's a six week placement for undergrads with the title 'Environmental Health and Safety summer placement'. Basically I'm wondering what kind of work I'd be doing, the job was advertised to Chemistry and chemical engineering students. I've done chemistry at college (high school level for you amerifags) but other than that I know jack shit.
Am I fucked or is this just some over-hyped office job?

I would prefer if math/physicsfags stayed out of this.
