I've been very interested in intravenous hydrochloric acid therapy, which was gaining popularity before antibiotics were a thing, but largely abandoned without reason. Every bit of information I've read has been wildly inconsistent about what it's good for and how it even works. The one consistancy has been to not use a concentration much greater than 1:500 HCL:Water, since stronger concentrations could damage red blood cells.

Where can I find actual, legit info on the subject?
