Why is gravity not a force? and what's the link between gravity and time?
If you can explain this so a retard can understand it you'll become a deity.

Look at it as a 2x1 pack, get 2 by the price of 1, it's a win wherever you look at it

I asked my professor today, he told me that, between the many mechanisms, one of them was indeed due to the Frank Starling law. The myocytes expands up to a point where actin filaments gets separated from myosin heads and so contractility is lost establishing a systolic dysfunction... because contractility is lost a fast increase in ventricular pressure induces hypertrophy but since the ventricle is so dilated it isn't enough to satisfy normal ejection fraction but nonetheless, it increases ventricular energetic demands and since you have an increase in ventricular demand and a decrease in your ejection fraction an ischemic environment will be generated within the ventricle inducing cell death and remodeling. From here the ventricular pressure will keep increasing until pulmonary hypertension occurs. After this cor pulmonale starts to establish through the same mechanism ending up in congestive heart failure.

In some special cases the first ventricular response is hypertrophy establishing a diastolic dysfunction rather than a systolic one but the mechanism in this case depends on the cause, for example in alcoholic cardiomyopathy the hypertrophy is due to direct toxicity from the alcohol metabolites, establishing a diastolic dysfunction with preserved systolic function.
