That's what your mom told me, right before I brought her to an average movie, made her watch 40 minutes of it, and then ruined the ending.

I even buttered her popcorn.

Mad?

Picture related. It's a picture of me not even being mad.

x = ab + (-a)(b) + (-a)(-b)

We can write

x = ab + (-a)[ (b) + (-b) ] (factor out -a)
= ab + (-a)(0)
= ab + 0
= ab.

Also,

x = [ a + (-a) ]b + (-a)(-b) (factor out b)
= 0 * b + (-a)(-b)
= 0 + (-a)(-b)
= (-a)(-b).

So we have

x = ab
and
x = (-a)(-b)

Hence, by the transitivity of equality, we have

ab = (-a)(-b).

Could someone help me with some more basic algebra? I'm trying to prove/derive the factored form of a quadratic equation ax^2+bx+c=0. Factored form is 0=a(x-r1)(x-r2).

I think I may have done it already, but I want to see it from someone more experienced.

(Not homework btw)

I never was my hands really.. unless they look visually grubby or after raw meat as you said. And I havn't been properly sick for years! But I also never worry about expiry dates, eating food which i accidently dropped on the floor etc etc so it has all helped build a pretty good immune system

Also one thing that annoys me is when people are like "Hey! Did you wash your hands after using the toilet!?!?!?!"
No... i only touched my penis.. i don't know about you but i dont piss on my hands when im going. If you scratched your balls or itched your armpit would you go and wash your hands after?

Physfags and anybody else-

Is there anything that might limit ones ability to build a large infrared light emitter on the scale of, say, stadium lights? And is there a solution more elegant than simply throwing an infrared filter over said lights? Is there a way to build an emitter that emits only in infrared and not in (or minimally in) the visible spectrum at this scale?

The idea is to build an IR "spotlight" that can be attached to large warplanes and helicopters to illuminate targets for IR night vision devices discreetly. The workable alternative is to use IR flares over a target area, but I'm curious about this alternative. Thanks in advance for your input!
