The majority of Americans do not support the current disparity in wealth distribution. Vast wealth inequality can be solved by higher top marginal tax rates on the richest, to fuel public investment in technology and infrastructure.

According to the GINI income inequality index the United States ranks just below Turkmenistan and Ghana. Denmark, Japan and Sweden leading the world in most income equality.

In my opinion the income tax on millionaires should be raised significantly. Those tax revenues should be invested into many public infrastructure projects on the scale of the Tennessee Valley Authority. Medicare/Medicaid should be reformed into a more efficient Universal Health Care system as done in Japan and the UK. Military spending should also be reduced drastically.
