Steve Hsu (physicist, hobbyist psychometrician, and "Information Processing" blogger; pic related) analyzed GRE or other standardized test score data to "convert" the standardized test scores to IQ scores. This conversion is at least loosely valid because statistically these standardized test scores are highly and positively correlated with IQ and g-factor asessments. Sure enough, these values are stratified by field. (Reference points: Traditionally, IQ is normalized at 100. The standard deviation for WAIS/WISC is 15 points. Mean IQ of a college graduate is 115. Mean IQ of high school graduates is 105.)
