they are only FOR science whenever it suits their own agendas, OBVIOUSLY, and even then they love to spin it a little bit, like when they talk about global warming using their charged rhetoric and turn believers into a skeptics

journos have also always been notoriously bad at reporting science. there so many instances of this, like for example when they nicknamed the higgs boson the "god particle" because some tone deaf autist misinterpreted some book, and fuck me it sticked. now everyone feels like they desperately need to gouge their eyes out whenever they read it.
