There are lost of contradictions in the bible (pic related), and a lot of things in the bible can be interpreted (and probably is) as being an explanation for what wasn't understood at the time. So that's not that difficult. However, those who believe in the bible generally aren't interested in this. They'll stick to their own truths, that's how religion works.

I have seen the evidence.
I have no intentions of arguing for a young earth at this time.
Even If the earth were 4.5 billion years old I would still believe in God.

Most of these contradictions are irrelevant to the teaching of Christ.
Furthermore it should be expected that books written by different people at different times would have minor variations.
Different people have different perspectives.
You could read movie reviews about the same move from different sources, and find contradictory reviews.
This information does not shake my faith.
