Speaking as a furry, I'd actually prefer having furbots for sex instead of actually IRL furries. Like realdolls sort of, but with the ability to move and stuff. And fur :3

Something like pic related would be awesome too.

We're still very primitive wrt DNA-modification, and it'll probably be centuries before we're able to do anything close to this anyway. We still can't even do a proper sex-change surgery.

Maybe in 30 years some freak furry doctor (I know of at least one: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/jaggers/)) will design a procedure to graft fur onto your skin and put in muzzle/ear implants and stuff, but the result will be disturbing.

Besides, everyone knows that if you create a race of furries, they'll dominate the world and kill all humans.
