Why can't I find many pictures of the Milky Way galaxy? Most pictures I find are of the Andromeda galaxy. I think it's far more interesting to see what our own galaxy looks like.

Post pics of the Milky Way!

I stumbled upon this youtube channel while watching Cosmic Journeys. I am amazed at how professional this video series is for a single youtuber. He hasn't gotten very much attention though, i thought i'd spread the word for him.

I am extremely fascinated by space and seek answers to everything in it. What major should I take?

I love space and i have a few questions about it

Due to the speed of light not being instantaneous, does this mean that if you were at a certain point in the universe, could you see the beginning of the universe in the distance? Theoretically of course.

Also, how did anything travel faster than the speed of light during the big bang? Was it because there were no atoms at first?

If someone opened a can of air in space, where does the air go?

Thanks in advance, I may have more questions soon.
