Old or alternative science theories thread. Different perceptions can be interesting.

It's kind of interesting seeing what we've learned as facts, and seeing either someone else's theory, or having theories that happened before the popular theories arrived. Anyone have any?

There are thousands of them - wack-ass theorists with their own off-beat, untestable theories as to the basic nature of the universe.

Some of these theories happen to be, although both wrong and untestable, pretty interesting through sheer strangeness - or sometimes hilariousness. This is the thread for posting particularly choice examples.
