Honestly, this is why I don't listen to what Professors have to say anymore. I just go off the books that are required in class and I'll them question during office hours. These people have gotten out of control and want to be some kind of trail blazers or something. They all think they're fucking Nicko Telsa and start doing random shit that doesn't make any sense. They'll show frustration with you if you don't understand it. I've noticed that I get this a lot with Indian professors and older white professors. I prefer Asian and black (rare) professors because they'll actually go over examples in the book and not just write random shit on the board that has nothing to do with the book.

I just realized bio chemical machinery is Turing complete, as it is able to construct a Turing machine, and as such is able to do any operation a Turing engine can.

However, is this the only way biochemical machinery is able to do Turing computations? Would cell cultures, without aid or construction of a computer, be able to do any arbitrary Turing computation? Would a virus? What are the conditions that allow a chemical reaction network to do Turing computations? Would be incredibly interesting to see if the original reaction feedback loops responsible for life are the minimum condition for Turing complete calculations! Please link me papers discussing/speculating on this subject.

To what extent is reality subjective? It seems as though if you change the memories and the present awareness (be it by changing the perceptions or the reality itself), then you can travel to either the future or the past.
