Its an old growth forest and people who falsely claiming that they're concerned about the environment are destroying it so that they can make big profits by replacing the old growth forest with plastic windmills that won't last 20 years before they become landfill fodder.
While the windmills are functioning they will slaughter thousand and thousands of the innocent birds which used to enjoy their natural habitat in the old growth forest, but the ""environmentalists""" don't care about that, they just want to make money selling fake """"green""""" energy

wind power is still worse for the environment, they've destroyed more nature in the past 10 years by driving birds and bats to extinction than nuclear power has in it's 70 year history.
