You have brain-computer interfaces and you think we couldn't have human-level artificial intelligence by then?

Far easier than when you only have a few candidates for your job. If you're worrying about mass unemployment, this comes back to the robots. They work 24/7, can mine minerals, make products and provide services for free, quite literally as long as you have feedstock and time.

My pet peeve when people speak about the huge shifts in society due to one or a few technologies and then fail to factor in the timelines of other inventions that have extremely promising uses in that same period.
