My theory: schizophrenia isn't an illness

Instead it's where someone has experienced something that has given them thoughts that they can't make sense of (maybe they took strong psychedelic drugs which induced hallucinations, or maybe they had an emotionally painful experience, like abuse, or bullying, or whatever). And they want to fix their problems but they don't know how.

Instead of helping them, the mental health system drugs them, which makes them incapable of helping themselves.

Prove that this isn't the case. You can't.

>They suppress the strongest negative symptoms

I thought claim is that they suppress the positive symptoms so you end up with an easy to care for passive person who stays quiet and does not do anything on their own initiative.
