So it appears that hot dogs can cause tumors due to their nitrates.
Being Murrikan I ate a shit ton of these as a quick fix meal.Certain vegetables also cause the nitrate reaction but have high levels of certain vitamins to counter it.

My question is this:
What can we do to cancel out the nitrates or something similar so we can enjoy hot dogs and only worry about the pounds and not a possible lethal affliction

Who decided to start counting the years at year 0?

And how are we so sure it's really the year 2012?

Are we still going by the year Jesus was born for year 0? How accurate is that?

Well, it's all superstition of course, but some things in the church do make sense because, as I said, they help to spread or at least maintain the religion (like killing everyone else that isn't part of yours).
