Neuralink has been looking for staff for like the last year or so. I think they're desperate and have already gone through some staff already. Musk has said multiple times that if you're interested you should apply. During the panel he clarified saying you should apply if you have had a 'shipped product'. Hell the whole beginning of the panel was basically begging people to apply.

I think this whole project is going to just be Elon throwing money at it and everyone gets hyped while the release date gets shoved waaay the fuck back.
