Why is it that most people who believe in science don't believe in aliens? Isn't that a bit of a contradiction?

Firstly, don't get me wrong, I don't believe in any religion. But why is it that most atheists are OK with amoral acts? Like sex outside of wedlock, harming people, racism, etc?

Why is card counting illegal? Isn't being able to track the cards an integral skill to the game? Isn't that the point of cards? To have a game based on certain skillsets instead of luck? If they don't want people using those skillsets, them remove the games that require them. Replace them will other chance based games.
