Why do some people claim that all races are equal intellectually, despite the fact that most evidence as well as scientific opinion suggests otherwise?

Why take on a view that has no evidence? Maybe someone on /sci/ with this view can defend it?

Science will always reveal the truth. Chinese, Japanese, Indians, and Koreans are statistically the most intelligent groups of people on this planet.

Even the most liberal psychologist would concede that differences in IQ exist between races (or replace the politicized word "race" with "geographically isolated populations of humans with identifiably different genomes"). That is not the controversy. It's plain statistics. The controversy is whether the differences are due to heredity or environment.

I assume you're talking about half Spanish and half Amerindians. With an average IQ of around 89, they are slightly higher than African Americans, but still almost a standard deviation below white Europeans.

No matter where they go, no matter how poor they start out as, Jews and East Asians always rise to the top of their societies. Look at the Japanese in Brazil. Or the Jews in New Zealand. The Japanese arrived as penniless agricultural workers in Brazil; now they are part of the most wealthy strata of society. The Jews in New Zealand came as broke outcasts from Europe, but now they similarly are the wealthiest class. Or think of the Indians in Africa. Although compared to whites, the IQ of Indians residing in Africa is low (87), compared to sub-Saharan Africans, they trounce the natives in intelligence and run pretty much everything. Look also at the case of the Chinese in South Asia. The Chinese have average IQs of around 105, while that of South Asians is much lower (around 85). Chinese immigrants to South Asia consistently hold the greatest share of prosperity, which has been the source for political animosity from the natives. The animosity held by South Asians for the Chinese is similar to that of whites toward Ashkenazi Jews, who have traditionally held a disproportionate amount of wealth due to their superior intelligence.

Sub-Saharan Africans, on the other hand, are consistently poor no matter where they are. Their economies and infrastructures are in shambles. This is not due to white racism because the places that whites have actually not touched at all, are in worse condition than the places whites have occupied. The same goes for Australian Aboriginals (lowest average IQ of any race, around 58), Native Americans (87), Latin Americans (around 90), South Asians and Indians (81-90), and gypsies (around 80).

There is no explanation for consistent group differences in achievement, than IQ as a heritable, racial trait (previously subject to evolution).

Just because kids are too dumb to pass those tests, doesn't mean they're not useful. Funny how mainstream politicians blame the education system, teachers, tests, or ANYTHING EXCEPT THE STUDENTS THEMSELVES. Maybe kids in America are getting dumber? Does anyone think this--gasp!--might have ANYTHING to do with the rising populations of Hispanics and blacks in America?

It is a sad truth that blacks and Hispanics have low IQs. This is repeatedly verifiable, and the low IQ persists or even worsens when you test blacks or Hispanics both in their native lands (where there is no "white discrimination") and in first world countries at high socioeconomic levels.

What does this mean? For one, it means that continuing to pump money into inner city schools will NOT produce any better results. You can't fix genetics. They will be in roughly the same social position forever. We just have to leave it alone.
