Let's get a chiropractic hate thread up in this bitch.

Chiropractic is a pseudo-science based on vitalism, a sort of religion of the spine. D.D. Palmer compared himself to Jesus when he created his philosophy of adjusting spines. The "vertebral subluxations" of the spine he envisioned do not exist and do not contribute to any known disease.

Chiropractors adjust patients who do not need treatment and X-ray patients unnecessarily. They often oppose public health measures such as vaccination and water fluoridation. Many engage in unethical advertising practices to build business. They downplay the risk of stroke involved in manipulating the cervical spine.

These quacks have no place in the world of scientific medicine.
