can't find the vid but some nasa guy explains that cloud cities on venus have many advantages over mars

turns out venus is just right at 70 thousand feet or something

all you need to do is wear a oxegen mask and stay above the sulferic acid clouds

of course it's only sustainable as long as you have a unbroken supply chain from earth so mars is still better for long term but venus is doable

So I just got done watching Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

premise is 17 mile wide asteroid is about to destroy
all life on earth

got me thinking how fucked would we be if they really announced a asteroid that size was going to hit earth in a month?

couldn't we do anything about it?
