Personal research currently focuses on mostly AI stuff. Usually with applications to finance and economics. I'm really interested in how different machine learning methods can be used to solve problems on portfolio allocation/auctions/contracts/risk aversion etc. Also working in a lab at my school focused on NLP & cognitive computing applications. Going to work in a statistics lab this summer to broaden my perspectives a bit.

Is emotional intelligence (EQ) also set in stone like IQ?
We can't raise our IQ no matter what. But can become more extroverted and more open to other people's feelings which allows us to manipulate them right?
So EQ isn't set in stone.

Agreed, I guess I can start with popular drugs, nootropics, steroids whatever and then do some videos on some classics from Woodward, Corey, maybe Nicolaou and then judge from there.

I'm still not sure on the format and how normie/undergrad-friendly I should design everything. I guess making it relatable to non-chemists and putting some "hooks" and stories should be my main goal (compared to actually looking at what disconnections where made, what other strategies entailed etc.)

I think that would be quite dumbed down but then again, looking at the few videos that are similar to the ones I'm planning most people write something along the lines of "I didn't understand a word but think it's interesting", so I shouldn't be too focused on the synthesis and chemical concepts themselves

which kind of defeats the purpose of my channel so I have no idea what I'll do, thanks for subscribing to my blog xd

Yes, it is much more likely that someone with a higher IQ will reach the top of the field. But nonetheless you can still succeed in math even if your IQ is a little below the average.

So, in non-standard analysis is 0.999... = 1?
If not, how would 0.000...1 not be equal to 0?

In non-standard analysis if we have x and a number x0 infinitely close to it, then x - x0 is infinitesimal. Would 0.999... = x - x0 be true? How are infinitely repeating decimals treated in NSA in this case?

When I was a teenager, a few friends called me over to a patch of concrete behind a drainage pipe and showed me where they all urinated while out playing. There was this small patch of clovers growing out of the concrete.

Would the urine have caused the clovers to grow? Was it connected, or pure chance? It was in the shade and the clovers were only on the spot they had pointed out to me. I remembered this and wanted to ask here before I forgot, as I have been wondering for years.

Pretty, smart, kind-hearted, shares some but not all interests with me, preferably a different field of study from mine, likes to cook together, shares the same values, and has a similar sense of humor (perversity ok), but remained pure

Only downside is she's flat I guess, but trust me, that is really not all that important
