not very rigorous but:
since the cosine measures the X axis and the sine the Y axis you can tell that they are the same here since the sine is 10° away from being at full height and the cosine is 10° away from being fully to the right.

i get conceptually that as Δx-->0 you end up with dx, but how does this lead to the notion of derivatives? i mean you're only approaching this value, you aren't actually evaluating a tangent line right? so i figured it's an approximation method but no, you are actually able to come up wtih functions that have single values of x that give you the slope of a tangent.

and again, i get how h is cancelled algebraically, but how does one make that transition from having a division by zero scenario to an actual slope by merely invoking limits and cancelling out the h? it seems so odd. it's all valid, but it seems as though this is a significant transition from mere algebra to some other train of thought.

Always nice to see videos like this. However you gotta assume you're targeting someone who doesn't quite get it, not a mathematician. So for example at 1:50 you rattle through the equations pretty fast. If I'm struggling to understand trig, I'm going to be switched off by that. The videos seem to be aimed at somebody with enough mathematical background to not be confused by trigonometry.

It would be good to have more moving animations than just stating trig equations with pictures. I think the ideal way of explaining things involves a single animation that you can watch and allows your brain to do the rest. For example gif related

Anyway that's just my opinion. Good luck with your videos.

These are only simple to you because you were raised learning these symbols. That's equivalent to me writing !@!#$, *&*#G (This is meant to be confusing to you so here's a key: 1=>!, @=>+, #=>=, $=>2, *=>3, &=>*, and G=>9. Unfortunately, they won't have a key, so I use quantities like 1 dot or 2 dots instead). Addition and multiplication are simple enough to understand using tickmarks and areas or rectangles. Maybe I'd draw a few still images of pic related to show the relationship between sin and cosine, as well as show simple acceleration vs velocity vs displacement graphs with labelled tangent lines and area under the curve to get the idea of derivatives and integrals into their head. Everything has to be completely visual, no symbols unless they are simple and completely necessary.

Look at the unit circle. You're converting the vector into it's fractional component that's less than the magnitude. Magnitude * 1*cosine/sin(theta)

When generating a matrix for a linear transformation from one field to another, you compose its columns and the transformation of the ordered basis for the vector space.

But if you're trying to compose the matrix for a linear transformation from one nxn matrix space to another nxn matrix space, how do you do it? You can't just line up the matrices like you do vectors.
