I'm so sorry fren, it was a different time. Humans going to space on a big futuristic-looking spaceplane was commonplace, people even got bored of it.
For me it was seeing Pathfinder land and deploy Sojourner that fired my imagination for Mars, Shuttles were cool and all but driving a little car on Mars was magical to me. Fingers crossed for Perseverance.

I’m amazed that starling got approved in Canada. The Canadian government has a tendency to shield their telecommunications companies from competition. But looks like the benefits to rural and northern populations outweighed that.

could an orion pusher plate be assembled in orbit or does it need to be a monolithic structure? if you can assemble segments together then starship could do a 40m diameter
