Did you write the problem correctly? If k=1 then 3k+4=7 and 7k-4=3, which are coprime.

Also, even if the question was written properly, you don't need to find u and v that work for every k. You find to find, for each k, that there exists such a pair u and v.

I haphazardly left out the word 'journal' before 'publications' in my post. Of course I publish, but as was the focus of my very first post which I've already brought up, open publishing is much more beneficial to the research community compared to journals.
