/sci/, what the actual fuck is the difference between a "chemical" and a "physical" process. I was looking through my old babby's first chem textbook and saw a whole section on this, but I could quite wrap my head around it. As far as I could tell, "chemical" means shit's happening with the electrons in an atom/molecule. But aren't chemical processes also physical processes? Where do you draw the line? And why draw it in the first place?
