Does anyone here work with Mathematica? And if so, how did you learn it?

Would Schaum's Outline of Mathematica be a good place to start? I found it to be very good for set theory.

Mathematica thread.

physics gradfag here

haven't used calculators on tests since freshman year of undergrad, luckily they don't ask stupid numerical questions in physics most of the time, so well-reasoned approximations are my best tool on tests

so i have a lab due for my calc 2 class that has to do with reimann sums in mathematica. for one of the questions, i am given a function, f(x) = x/(x+2), 1<x<4, and i'm supposed to create a manipulate plot that allows you to adjust the values of n from 0 to 50. I have no idea how to write this code and would appreciate any help.
