Reincarnation appears to be an inevitable fate after death, because the same constellation of circumstances that has led to the formation of your consciousness have already occured once, so there is precedent for them possibly happening again - and provided a universe that spans an infinite period of time, "might happen" turns to "will inevitably happen", again at an undetermined point in the far future.

Caveats: it is exceedingly unlikely that it happens during a human's (or the solar system's) lifespan, and all of your memories will be erased as the brain of your current existence rots away post mortem.
