/sci/, I've been reading up about argumentative logic, and it's still kinda hazy to me.

What's the difference between a red herring and a straw man argument?

How on earth can I tell when a fallacy fallacy is being committed, because it seems like by pointing out any fallacy (including this one), then I am just committing a fallacy fallacy.

Is the case where someone just refuses to believe any of your premises, a form of "moving the goalposts"?
