But Thales' theorem is a tantology in this context! It is a statement that is true for all the right-triganles with the hypothenus inscribed as the diameter in the circle.

It is the same shit as the pythagoran theorm. It is a tanutology because it is always true (in this given context). The only thing OP will stuble in his quest are tantologies like these.

It is impossible for him to find anything else but a tantologies (in this context) because he doesn't specifiy enough information for a unique right-triangle. Hence any mathematica equation he gets, must apply to all right triangles, hence it must be a tantology in that context.

Yes, the photon self energy. The photon, will turn into an electron and positron, and then turn back into the photon.

You can get all sorts of complicated, interactions with self energies and shit. However, just becuase something "may decay", in the feynman diagrams doens't mean that it is taken into account when we consider lifespan.

The misconception you have is that decays correspond to a "unique physical behavior". Either it decays or it doens't......lol. However, the actual path of the photon isn't one of its physical possibilities, it is all of its physically possibilties simuluaniously (see Quantum Field Theory).

A photon in leading order need not decay. It is perfectly stable, and "could" continue forever unchanging. Hence it is considered to have no "life span".

Yes, possible in theory.

>If so why?

There is no theory that says they shouldnt exist, hence they "could" exist. There is no established conclusive train of thought that would prevent them. Afterall, there is nothing special about room temperture.

We really just won't know if they "exist", until we either build one, or dispove there existence theortically.
