Explain Jacobians.
I read about a Jacobian matrix in some research paper I'm trying to understand.
The term "Jacobian matrices of the mappings that connect different spaces" came up in the abstract.

First glance it has something to do with differential equations an matrix transformations. Though I'm sure you guys have a better explanation.
Have at it chumps, Thanks in advance.

non-understandable garbage is the best way to communicate these ideas. That is why non-understandable garbage was invented in the first place. To be more descriptive and contextual so as to guide your interpretation of the concept in the right direction.

The answer:
It was easier for an earlier compilers/syntax checkers/parsers to distinguish variables by looking looking for characters to indicate the start of an expression.

I keep reading that LISP is a statically scoped language and can, sometimes offer dynamic scoping as well. I have no idea how that would work in LISP.

Can anyone show me pseudo code or actual code that illustrates dynamic scoping in LISP?
