These guys drop out of the school in a couple of semesters at my university. I'm finishing my junior year as a mechanical engineer and I've had literally ONE class where I got to do anything hands-on, and I've had no design courses. My classes have all been math, physics, and CS related. I don't even know what to talk about during my interviews when they ask what I've accomplished other than my shitty coding projects.

Meanwhile the "Engineering Technology" students (code for brainlet at my school) have projects and CAD courses starting sophomore year
