Any reference books on neurology, brain anatomy, brain physiology, or psychiatry?

Probably our best bet, though not only chance by any means. Read 'ending aging', his book.

>22 man
>Business and Aerospace engineering Majors
>Never smoked in my life
>I ve been sporadically chewing nicotine gum for the past 2 years in order to induce neurotropic effects
>So far no signs of addiction
>My intake is rather low, a single 2.5mg gum lasting around a week.

Observation
>between 30min and 6h after intake I ve experienced a significative improvement in my flirting/public speaking skills
>While beeing in a flow like state I ve been able to find Words, Jokes, and "Charismatic Remaks" with an unprecedented ease

What is causing this effect?
Does Nicotine selectively targets language related parts of the brain?

Genuinely curious, can you guys name some specific examples of useful/valuable applications and fields which demand a PhD in Math?

Help me figure out this incoherency in scale, Google hasn't helped me for the past few hours.

Microprocessors have billions of transistors inside them and the whole thing can fit in the palm of my hand

Fairchild sell a single discrete transistor, which is relatively not much smaller than the microprocessor (just by observing you can tell it's not a billion times smaller to say the least).

Is it two different manufacturing processes? Two different types of transistors? Is it an error in linguistics?

I'm just really mad that I don't know the answer, and Google isn't helping
